Federal Govt Unveils $609m Fund For Tech Entrepreneurs

During the ongoing 2023 Nordic Nigeria Connect in Lagos, Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, made a significant announcement regarding the federal government’s commitment to fostering technological innovation in Nigeria. Tijani disclosed that a substantial fund amounting to $609 million has been earmarked to support and propel the endeavors of tech entrepreneurs across the nation over the next four years.

In his address, Minister Tijani underscored the telecommunications sector as a cornerstone of service provision, emphasizing the imperative for Nigeria to cultivate partnerships that enhance connectivity and ensure that citizens reap the benefits of technological advancements.
